Ankley Farm

Each September I watch the weather for a cool cloudy day with no wind, and I head out to the Ankley Farm, Imlay City in Southeast Michigan to shoot their amazing fields of flowers.

Dahlias are in great condition, and many others are also still in good shape, and they have a nice field of sunflowers in bloom.

I used my Fuji X-T30 MKll body with the Tamron 18-300 lens.

Set my f/stop at f/32 and never touched it during the shoot.  ISO2000.

Printed backgrounds placed behind the flowers.

Creative post processing in Smart Photo Editor.

Here are some images from past shoots

For members of my Macro Photo Club, I will have a video uploaded about the shoot next week into the "Tips from the Field" video collection.
