Found this foxtail positioned right in front of this unknown plant, and like the comp. It was the first frosty day of the 2023 fall season.  I placed a printed background behind the subjects and shot at f/32.

I was playing with the image in Smart Photo Editor not really knowing what I was going to do with the processing and hit on one of the filters that gave it this artsy look.

So that is what I went with.
