Before and After - Chicory Flowers

I see so many images posted on facebook photo groups that are great images but not sharpened enough to really bring out all the fine details of the subject.  For some reason photographers are afraid of the sharpening programs, or don't realize how much it can improve their images.

Here is the finished image of two Chicory Flowers.  I used the sharpen filter in Smart Photo Editor to show off all the fine details of theses flower.

Here is the original out of the camera.  What comes out of the camera doesn't always give you the sharpness you need, so a little help in post processing is needed.  I also added a boost in the color and cloned out some distractions in the background.

Join my International Macro Photo Club and learn through over 250 instructional videos, including many on post processing.  Over 2,500 members from 28 countries.
