Finding the Minimum Focusing Distance of the Tamron 18-300

Checking out the new Tamron 18-300 on the Fuji X-T30 ll to see how small of an area I can photograph at the minimum focusing distance of the lens. I got it down to approximately one and a half inch by two and a half inch.  I tried in a little closer, but the images were soft, so I was starting to get inside of the minimum focusing distance.

That's pretty small an area, and a smaller area then 90% of the stuff I photograph.  So, I am happy about that.
