Each year when I book new speakers for my annual Macro Photo Conference, I look for speakers that have some new unique style that has not be seen before.  Gerri Jones has come up with something new and I'm excited to see her program at the Macro Photo Conference, April 23rd and 24th, 2022 in Seekonk, MA.

 Description: 

Shooting outside in gardens with low light late in the day can present challenges.  Join Gerri as she shows you how to harness low lighting conditions, which will turn your images into dark and moody floral portraits.  In this presentation, Gerri will discuss techniques along with some of the lenses she prefers and why these lenses work well to render low light in a dramatic and painterly way.  "Let the light draw you in".

Gerri Jones – Bio

Gerri enjoys photographing all subjects and especially the challenge of new ways to see through the creative use of Lensbaby lenses. She is a Lensbaby Ambassador.  Gerri has been a featured speaker/instructor at regional camera conferences.  Gerri also instructs in creative photography prestation with camera clubs, in person or online.

Gerri’s images have been featured in several publications, commercial proposals and she also has reviewed several photography books for development by Focal

Press Publications. Her images have received several first place awards in national and regional photo completions.

Gerri resides in Buffalo, New York
