It's A New Decade, What Are Your Goals

On the first of each new year, I always like to see what all my photographer friends are planning on doing for the new year, and what plans we all have for the decade ahead.

The last decade was great for my photography business, and I appreciate all the people that have supported me and made my business a success.  Over the years I had sold out most of my Macro Boot Camps, started my Macro Photo Conference and sold it out for six years in a row, and one year had attendees from 27 different states. Started my Macro Photo Club, and in the last two years of the decade, I signed up over 1400 paid members from 18 countries.  So I am honored and humbled by all those who have help with the success of these programs.

Thankful to all my sponsors who have supported my Macro Photo Club, Macro Photo Conference,  and paid for me to attend and present and many photo conferences through out the decade.  Tamron, Acratech, Vanguard, Hunt's Photo, Wimberly, Think Tank Photo, Datacolor, Lensbaby, Fuji, Panasonic, Lens Flipper, and Hoodman.

So what's going to happen in the new decade.  I hope to continue running the Macro Photo Conference, and in 2020 we will be moving the conference to Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Look for the info and sign up to be posted in a couple weeks.

I will continue to promote and sign up new members into the Macro Photo Club.  I have over 190 videos as of now, but plan to add more through out the new year.

In  a couple days I will be heading to Tucson for a workshop, and look forward to shooting the desert plant life.  I will also be presenting at the Sedona Photo Symposium, so I get to shoot in another new area to me.  I will be back on Madeline Island, in Lake Superior, north of Wisconsin in June.  Planning another Old Car City workshop in the Fall, and a March workshop at the Henry Ford Museum, in Dearborn, Michigan.

So 2020 should be a fun year, and looking forward to more success.
