I grew up in central New York and after college moved to Ohio. I now live in Avon Ohio.

I have been photographing since 1983 (using the trial and error, and read books method).  I have been photographing macro since the mid nineties, when I bought my first macro lens which I still use now.

Equipment: Nikon 610 camera ,old school 105mm Macro lens, Nikon 3T, 4T diopters, Kenko extension tubes, Nikon 80 -200 zoom lens with a Canon 500D Diopter.

I photograph mostly flowers, but thanks to Mike's videos and the conferences I now shoot a wide variety of subjects.

Most of my photography is done in my yard in the rose bed, iris bed, dahlia bed, in the woods behind the house. I also shoot in the Metro parks, Miller Nature Center greenhouse and garden which is close by.
