In live in Phoenix, Arizona

I first learned to shoot back in the 80’s, but after my camera broke, I got away from Photography until about 7 years ago.

I use a Nikon D5300 with a Tamron 70-300 mm for most of my close-up images.  When I want a true macro lens, then I have a Tamron 90mm f2.8 which I use with my old Pentax K500 camera.

My favorite macro subjects are plants, mostly flowers, then second would be butterflies.

My favorite location for macro is at home either in our back yard or indoors on a table with LED lights. There is also a butterfly conservatory near me which is a lot of fun for both butterflies and plant life.
