I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and I am still here.

How long have you been shooting?

I have been shooting for over 40 years as an amateur, professional, fine artist, and commercial photographer as well as a photography teacher. I am teaching Advanced Photoshop Fundamentals for Photographers right now.

What kind of equipment do you shoot with?

Primarily all Nikon DSLRs, a Nikon D4s and all Nikon glass.

Your favorite macro subjects to shoot.

I am an eclectic visual artist but among macro subjects I would have to favor insects and critters, however I look for any subject that I can make into photo art.
 
Favorite location to shoot.

Around here it would be Dodge Park Clinton River, Riverbends Park, and various Michigan Nature Association Preserves. In the U.P. my favorite location is the Pictured Rocks area around Munising.
