Microcosms: Finding and Photographing Wildlife for Macro

In this talk wildlife photographer and ecologist, Nick Kanakis, will discuss how to find macro subjects—whether in your local park or the rainforest—and the ethics around working with small animals like insects or snakes. The discussion will then shift to tips on how to take diverse photos, including lighting strategies, composition, incorporating natural history, and wide-angle macro.
