It's a new year and we always think of a new year as starting fresh with new ideas and hopes for the upcoming year.  

I get excited at this time thinking about what I'm going to do new to advance my photography and also my business. 

I have some trips planned to Arizonia and Florida this winter that I hope will produce some great new images.  I am also scheduled to teach a workshop for the Garden Club of America at the Chicago Botanical Gardens and will also be back on Madeline Island in June teaching a workshop along with Anne Belmont, Jackie Kramer, and Charles Needle, and it's already sold out.

My annual Spring workshop at Old Car City is subject to how this new omicron virus progresses, so I will announce the dates as soon as I feel it's ok to run it.

The Macro Photo Club is starting out the first day of the year with 8 new members, which we are over 2,400 members from 27 countries, and I find that's awesome that it has grown to this number of members in just a few short years. 

Unfortunately, due to covid I had to cancel my annual Macro Photo Conference in 2020 and 21.  I do have another conference scheduled for April in Seakonk, MA, but now we have the new omicron virus that is running up big numbers of infected, so may have to cancel this one as well, but we'll see.

I also have a Macro Photo Conference scheduled for Cleveland in the first week of October 2022. No details on that one yet.

I plan to do more zoom meetings for camera clubs, and also running some of my own zoom programs with guests coming on to present.
