Photographing Dead Butterflies

Here is a fun thing you can do.

Go to, Butterflyutopia.com and buy some butterflies.

They are sent to you in a box with a glass top, pull out the pins holding the top on, and you can carefully pull out the butterflies when you are ready to use them in a set up.

I will pull them off the cotton by the wing but be gentle.

You can have fun finding backgrounds that you can place the subjects on and photograph them.

I would use ferns, downed tree trunks, flowers, rocks, plants, burned wood, leaves as the backgrounds.

Booking camera club zoom meetings, need a speaker, let me know, macrogeekmike@yahoo.com
