Spring Beauty Flowers

Spring Beauty (Claytonia virginica) is a lovely wildflower native to North America. It typically blooms in early spring, showcasing tiny delicate pink or white flowers with darker pink stripes. The flowers have a star-like shape and grow in clusters on slender stems. The foliage consists of broad, green leaves that often have a slightly patterned appearance.

Spring Beauty thrives in moist, wooded areas and is often found in rich, loamy soil. It's an important early source of nectar for pollinators like bees. If you're considering adding them to your garden, they prefer partial to full shade and can make a charming addition to a naturalized area or woodland garden.
