I few years ago I read a great book called "Outliers - The Story of Success" by Malcolm Gadwell.

He studied all the famous and most successful people in the world who became masters of their craft and found that the common denominator was that they put in 10,000 hours of work over years to reach the level of greatness.  

Now you are thinking I don't have 10,000 hours to dedicate to my photography, but the point here is that with every hour of work you invest in your photography the closer you will get to being a great photographer. 

You have to put in the hours.
