The very first time I pressed the camera's shutter

In 2001 I bought some used camera gear from e-bay. Bought a Nikon N80, Tokina 28-80 lens, and some velvia slide film. My very first day off work, which was a Saturday in November, I went to my local park to shoot sunrise. Storm clouds were passing over me and I pulled into this parking lot and looked east and saw this leafless tree with all the color in the background. I set up my tripod and this was the very first time I press the shutter on my new camera. Of course I gave up on the landscapes after a couple years and dedicated all my time into macro photography, which has worked out well.
