In my neck of the woods, which is Southeast Michigan, Fall is the best time for me to find mushrooms in the woods. October is a great month to search them out, as the temps are cooler, so it's more comfortable to be out in the woods, and we tend to get more cloudy days so better lighting. Looking forward to getting some new mushroom images this month. I hope to find them before the critters eat them, I think it's the deer that munches on them.
