Got My New Fuji Mirrorless and Tamron Lens

I decided to give another try with a mirrorless camera. I have the Fuji X-T30 ll and the new Tamron 18-300.  This lens is able to focus in really close, so looking forward to seeing just how close that is.

More and more people are attending my workshops with mirrorless cameras, and I have trouble understanding the different system, so hopefully this will help me get acquainted with the modern world of photography.

I will admit my frustration trying to figure out how all the functions worked, which are way different then my DSLR. I watched videos on You Tube on setting up the camera but because I was using the Tamron lens, it would work a little different then if I was using the Fuji lenses, so I had to just keep playing and playing until figured it out.

Now, I just have to remember how I got it to work if I don't use it on a regular basis.  My issue was figuring out what control changed the f/stop, and also how to manually focus rather than autofocus.

But with any new system, it just takes time to get used to it.

So, now time to shoot.
