I live in the Tampa, FL area. 

I have been shooting since 2005 but even more so the last 6 or so years.

I shoot with Nikon equipment, currently D850 and Z7, primarily with the 105mm but I will shoot a close-up with whatever lens I am using if I see a subject that warrants it, including my 200-500mm when I am out shooting birds!

I shoot a lot of flowers, but I am on the lookout for any type of subject that would be an interesting subject up close and into the abstract side of things. 

The botanical gardens such as Longwood Gardens, Selby Gardens in Sarasota, and Thuya Gardens in Northeast Harbor, ME are a few of my favorites but a drive my photog friends crazy when we are out on our traveling adventures as I am constantly stopping to shoot flowers in gardens, wildflowers in the fields and anything else I see when we are out walking about!
