Vine Strangles Common Mullein Plant

I always teach that there are three things that make a great image. Number one and most important a great subject, second is composing it properly and third is good post processing, it's that simple.

I also teach that you need to always be searching subjects that have character, something that makes the subject unusual and different from the normal.

In this image I found this vine that was growing right next to the Common Mullein plant, and the vine is reaching out and strangling the Mullein plant.

Look close at the Mullein and you will see the vine spiraling downward around the plant.

I thought well that's different and unusual, so got to shoot it.

Fuji X-T30 MKll with Tamron 18-300, f/32. I placed a white background behind the subject and added a creative filter in Smart Photo Editor.
